Still unable to get problem resoved

On Sat 21/9/2013 I changed from a Vodacom Pre Paid to a Vodacom contract and requested that my pre paid number be converted to contract, this was all done in a Vodacom store. Ever since when dialing my number we get "the number you have dialed does not exist" and I've been unable to receive any calls for the past.5 days.
I've made at least 15 calls to the call center (each time having to speak to a new operator/supervisor and explain the situation for scratch, get ref numbers which don't mean anything because each time you get a new one!!!). the operators are unable to assist, . I've also spent two days in the Vodashop where the contract was taken out trying to resolve the issue also with no success. I'm at my wits end... my impression is that the senior people at Vodacom don't want to be contacted or get involved with problems as the call centre operator/supervisor just don't escalate. I dont know what to do anymore, how does one get a problem escalated within Vodacom so as to have the problem resolved? they are very secretive about giving names, numbers, email addresses etc is there an Ombudsman a person can contact. Vodacom your customer service/care just non existent
