Vodacom
Why do you reserve the right to revoke airtime?

Telecommunications

I have a 500 minutes per month contract with Vodacom through the agency of Autopage with whom I have been for about 15 years. I am required to travel internationally on a regular basis and during my absence in South Africa my airtime accumalate. Presently I have about 1000 minutes in credit, however Vodacom "takes back" any unused minutes after 5 months. I cannot understand why they reserve the right to take back something that I purchased and paid for simply because I have not used it as yet. The idea is similar to a bank with whom you deposit fund into a savings type account who takes upon themselves the right to "" your money after a certain period if you did not find use for it. I believe that the ownership of these airtime minutes should belong to me for life since I purchased and paid for it.
