Promises given in order to renew contract false!

In August I contacted 082 1958 in order to cancel my contract. I was asked why I was not renewing my contract, I explained that I was not happy with the packages that were being offered. I was then offered the Smart S package which is 200MB, 75min talk and 200sms, however I was offered an additional 500 MB of data. I accepted. Got my new phone, but not the extra 500MB of data!!! Called was not referenced!! I called back today and a very kind lady Jabulile said she would ask for the call recordings and get back to me. I am appalled that it is up to me to have to chase up this false promise! I would never have renewed my contract on the initial terms as other service providers offer more data. Last week I mailed to query- no response. I have called before, but after 10 min of listening to the most appalling music I gave up. If promises are made they should be recorded and kept. I am not impressed
