MTN and the Data bundle contracts that they sell

Telecommunications

I opened up a contract with an MTN dealership in Galleria almost 2 years ago. MTN had advertised that they had a Samsung 10.1" Tablet 2GIG data bundle contract (24months) for R 369.00 per month. When I signed the contract is speficially requested for the TOP UP bundle option. This means that when i reach my 2 GIG limit, i get cut off. Naturally, I can also budget monthly on the fixed amount mentioned above.
15 or some months later with the same R 369.00 being debited monthly, i get a fright when I see my invoice going from R369.00 to R864.35 then R 569.00 and finally R1611.25.
You can imagine my complete HORROR.
I went to MTN in Pavilion and asked them to investigate. I also asked for a copy of my contract (one that I signed) as MTN kept on repeating that I have an "OPEN CONTRACT"
Almost 6 weeks later and many many phone calls, I received a copy. With no indication of what I asked for (Top UP) I was then casually informed that this account would DEFAULT at OPEN LINE.
I asked where in the Terms & Conditions it says this, but apparently it doesnt.
I have lost count how many MTN people i have spoken with and how many promises i have been given.
