Cell C
Disclosure of personal information over the phone

I had recently take a Cell C top contract and a consulted who identified himself as Lesley Johnson called to "confirm banking details". Over the phone I asked him what details he had about me and he started reading out my bank account and address to me. I suprised that a huge company like Cell C who go around disclosing such information willy nilly!!! I then heard him in the background saying that I was wasting his time and he dropped the phone while I was still holding. My problem is Cell C calling me and disclosing information to some one who says their name is me! What if my phone was and the consultant called and started disclosing my bank details and address to that person!!! Secondly the guy responsible became very rude when I asked him the same questiong on the phone!!! Private information is PRIVATE and should not be read over the phone!!!
