Bank sends financial info to other cell numbers

I was at Stellenbosch Banch on 24 January to handle some routine account maintenance when my wife contacted me and said that my account settings were being SMS'ed to her phone. I have never given Standard Bank her cell number and neither has she. She has not ever banked with Std Bank. I continually refuse to give my cell number to Standard Bank. They have my work number and Home number and they should be contacting me by email as I requested so that I have some semblance of a copy of what they say and do.
So, yes I was a bit miffed and asked the Branch Staff to remove the cell phone number from my account record. They said that they had removed the cell number.
Yesterday, Sunday 27 Jan, my wife gets an SMS from Standard bank saying that my account has been suspended for some FICA compliance reason. Not only can I not pay bills from that account, but Standard Bank continues to send my private financial information to a cell phone number that I did not supply to them, and which I specifically asked them to remove from my account details.
Standard bank, your processes and systems are moronic and your service is pathetic.
