I had a contract with 8ta for which R138 per month was being deducted from my account i knew it would finish in 2013 and as i did not want to renew it i phoned early in the year to make sure what i should do to make sure it ends. I was told to phone a month before its 2 years are up which would be June so i was to phone in May. I phoned them more than once to make sure this was correct and when May came i called to cancel to which they assured me it had now been cancelled it would be dealt with and the debit orders would stop. It all seemed ok till the end of July when i received an sms showing i had yet again been debited with R138 by telkommobile i phoned in quite furious and was told not to worry the matter would be escalated and I would be refunded the money taken in July. This was all good until i woke up in september one morning to an sms from my bank notifying me that yet another R138 had been taken off of my account by telkommobile this infuriated me and i immediately got on the phone to them and upon getting through and explaining my story i was told the only way to cancel is by going into a telkom shop or filling in a form online i am now still waiting for a resolution
