Upgrade? Not if you lose your benefits!

I have been battling for three days to receive competent assistance.
I have had an upgrade done, and it appears that all the free minutes accumulated have been removed by the "upgrade" - without any form of notification from Vodacom. It's more like than an upgrade.
Friday I called to confirm that accumulated minutes would be transferred.
First agent said it would not. I asked to speak to manager. Was left holding for 10 minutes.
Called again. Second agent said my minutes WOULD be transferred for a month. Again asked to speak to manager, due to conflicting stories by agents. Same story - left holding for 10 minutes. Not sure whether agents are poorly trained, or resort to lying to customers that are upset at the lack of consideration received by Vodacom.
Called again yesterday. Was assured manager would call me. This has not happened. Of course.
So - let me try again -
Please escalate and have a person of authority call me to rectify.
If Vodacom chooses to reward loyal customers of MANY years, for their continued support by simply removing benefits due to the customer - WITHOUT NOTIFICATION - then it's time to consider a different network!
