I upgraded to an IPad about three weeks ago and specifically asked that no extra charge be asked because I cannot afford it. They agreed that it would then be a top up my gig 2 data account and said that I will only receive my 2gigs data on the 1st of next month. They said in order to use my iPad now i could load some data that will be deducted on the 1st of next month along with the payment. My data finished about a week ago and i decided to top up my data again yesterday. After waiting 3 hours without my internet connection going on i decided to call vodacom. They explained to me that i cannot use the internet on my IPad because it has been locked due to a large sum on the account because I was still on my old business call contract that had no limit placed. My account is now in the amount of over R4500.00. They didn't even bother to call and tell me that i have exceeded R1000.00 on my contract and if i was even aware of it. I'm furious because that was the one thing I tried to prevent by mentioning it over and over to the sales consultant when we signed the contract. How can you promise a client one thing and do another behind their backs? This is just plain!
