I have a Nashua Mobile account with an Ipad and 2 gig's data... I noticed that I cant access the internet and that there is no 3G or EDGE connection on my Ipad. So I phoned the Data department on 011 207 8017 and asked if they can check the problem: they came back and said that I have been Soft Locked: strange I said. So basically I needed to increase my call limit otherwise I wont be able to access my 2 gig data... So now the contract is more again and i will have to pay R30 per month more for a call limit and I will be soft locked every month if I go over my data plan and will have to phone in and wait 24 hours for it to be updated.. Is this for real in today's world? what a mission- so you have to buy DATA to use your DATA or to activate the usage of your DATA? The ipad is costing me almost R600 per month now for 2 Gigs data and insurance on it... As i understand it will cost more every month as I will have to increase the call limit if I go over my data plan otherwise I wont be able to use my DATA that I am already paying for... Any advice?
