Hello. I would like to appeal to anyone in Telkom's Technical services to try and get someone to fix my ADSL line. All the houses around me were converted to 1Meg lines but mine seems to only be happy on 384k. Pushing it at 512k. I call and hold on for ever and when I connect to DSL Technical Support I get connected to a person that has no knowledge on how data lines operate and the importance of signal to noise ratio. Question: Why is the signal to noise ratio so low. Their answer: The lower the ratio the better your line is sir... And now they wonder why my line is not working very well. Do you have a job for me? I know how telephone and data lines work, I can teach your "technicians" how to do their job efficiently at the very least.

Once again, I challenge anyone in Telkom to come and FIX the problem on my line. I know it's the line because if I drag my ADSL Modem across the road to another line it works perfectly and when they try their modems on my line they cannot work either... The common failure being my line.

I pay for this service but I get very poor service. Should I start paying poorly? You tell me.
