I have had a Telkom Mobile / 8ta account for over 2 years now. Always paid by debit order, switched bank details last month and of course all went wrong. the d/o didnt go through. On Friday 23/08/2013 Telkom Nudebt deducted 2 months premiums as well as an erraneous admin amount of R200.00! On Monday I received a digital call as well as an SMS saying that I would be suspended and my details possibly send to the relevant credit listings. I called customer service and spoke to "Lydia? " who informed me that if the d/o went through, I should just ignore the messages. I did but only to be suspended later on the day. I called in furious and was pushed from pillar to post! I requested a manager, the only 1 that was working was Lucky Mashego. After a 40 minute hold on the line, he attended to my call only stating that he could not help me as he did not have proof of payment. How do you send it if your data connection is cut? I made an alternate plan to forward it to him anly to wait -48hours to be reconnected. Their service is useless and poor for a call centre. they do not cut it. I will discourage everyone from them in cases like mine. I am taking this matter further too!!!
