No way to create a strong account password

I cannot create a strong account password.

Reason 1 - Password must be between 6-8 characters. - cannot be longer than 8 characters.

Reason 2 - Password may only contain alpha-numeric characters, Remedy: Use only alpha-numeric [a-z and 1-0] characters in the password. - password cannot contain special characters like @ or #

I have various on line accounts like gmail, dropbox, facebook, twitter, etc and MWEB is the only account with these sorts of restriction on password.

Additionally - I have lodged a complaint in regards to lack of basic functionality of MWEB Message Centre a few months ago. There has been no development and no improvement to the Message Centre service so don't really expect anything to come from this complaint.
