Telkom does not keep to its promise

I signed on for the R399 contract for adsl internet. spoke to sales assistant on phone.she assured me that i will not be required to pay anything because i already have the closer plan. a few weeks later i got a sms requesting me to pay R800 . I went into the chatsworth branch and after waiting and spending - 3 hours sorted out the problem. After about 3 weeks i got a sms to collect my modem. The assistant didnt bother to notify me that the free 3G dongle is not in the box! Its 3 weeks - no call, no letter no contact at all to inform me if they have stocks.i did go in once to check - the lady informed me that there are 300 customers waiting for their free dongle! what i find difficult to comprehend is why do u advertise if you cannot keep to your promise? will i ever receive what you advertised on tv, in newspapers and phamplets? very dissappointing service for a major supplier!
