I have been with Autopage since 1999. During this time my account has been paid timeously and with no issue.

So, big was my surprise when I received an sms earlier today to say that my sim has been locked. So immediately I phoned the call centre. First I spoke to Nicole and she stated that my usage is high, so they just locked the sms. No call, no sms.

She attempted to transfer my call to Kenneth of the credit control, but dropped the call. I phoned again and spoke to Matsidiso, with the same result. Dropped call.

Phoned again and then spoke to Evans. He advised that I have to pay 50% of the fees, before they will activate the sim again. Why I cannot understand. They will be deducting their outstanding fees at the end of the month, like every previous month since 1999.

I NEVER delete any of my sms and did not receive any phone calls to advise me of their concern. If there has been such a big discrepancy that worried them in such a way to lock the sim, could they not call (to my mobile number)?

No people, this is not service at all, let alone good service!!

Not impressed. And I will not be renewing my contract.
