NOT ABLE TO ACTIVATE DUAL SIM CARD

Telecommunications

On the 7th December I purchased a dual SIM card for my phone on an Autopage MTN contract at the Autopage store in Centurion Mall. I was informed that it will take 24 hours to activate the SIM card. I was overseas for the week and this morning (14/12/2013) I inserted the SIM without success. I phoned their call centre early this morning only to be told that their systems were not running, they cannot help me at all and I have to phone back after 2 hours. I phoned back later where I was informed that they had no record of my SIM card on their system. After holding for a considerable amount of time, the call was dropped. I phoned back and spoke to a chap called Brady. Same scenario - on hold for a long period before I was transferred to someone els who informed me that Autopage does not have the ability to activate this SIM and I will have to wait to Tuesday. I spoke to the manager a Mr Aldrin Ridgarde who confirmed this situation. Points to note - SIM should have been activated within 24 hrs, now I have to waited a week and still have to wait another 3 days. This is an Autopage operational problem and they should have resolved it immediately. Not acceptable!
