Recycled Lines and Promotion of

My new contract line was activated 6 days ago and i immediately became bombarded with phone calls, text messages and whatsup messages from strangers who all wanted to speak to a doctor whom i realised was the previous owner of my line. The text messages I'm receiving are from ABSA bank each time this doctor makes a withdrawal from his account. I can tell you what his bank balance is, where he is based on the atm withdrawal location etc, all information that is supposed to be private and confidential.

I contacted the call centre and was informed that vodacom had given me a recycled line (?!). It`s Monday today and i have had the pleasure (not!) of speaking to a consultant who informed me that he could certainly give me a new line but that Vodacom would again strike a second debit order this month and that they could not guarantee a refund. That the best thing would be for me to keep this line and bear through the harassment of phone calls. I refuse! Vodacom cannot force me to keep this line with threat of a second debit order. I am so sick of this bad service from Vodacom and i demand a new line without being penalised for their up and continued incompetence!!!
