Order cancellation, goods not picked up

I wanted to upgrade an existing contract online but accidentally opened a new contract. This was on the 12th of August. On the 14th I received the phone and SIM. In the evening I received a text message informing me that a new contract had been opened in my name. As soon as I realised my mistake I called Vodacom online sales (082 1945) and informed them, to my relief they offered to take the phone back. On Friday 16th August someone from RAM couriers called to arrange for pick up on the 19th. On the 19th no one came or called. On the 20th I called Vodacom again to follow up however their systems were down they gave me the RAM customer care number and the PU number. I called RAM on the 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd every time they promised someone would call me back to arrange for collection. I called Vodacom again on the 23rd they said they would escalate as the phone should have been picked up already. They have already taken R115 from my account soon the monthly fee will be due and I'll be paying for a phone & SIM I'm not using. Also worried the cooling off period will expire. I need this to be resolved ASAP as I can't afford to pay for two contracts.
