I would like to expand on my earlier report on vodacom: I am very unhappy about the way the manager of Vodacoms repair department (Maphutin) handled my querie. She is very unprofessional and and rude. She didnt seem to be interested in any of my statements and queries and this is not appropriate. Her service is very poor and she does not know how to work with clients.

My daugter baught a new cellphone from Vodacom at the start of 2013. A month later she had to take it to Vodaworld for repairs. After that the phone was taken in 4 times for repairs. Now again she had to take the phone back to Vodaworld for repairs and it has been there for a month now. She phoned in three times to follow up the progress of the repair work and their feedback was the phone is still in for repair. They gave her a loan phone that can only make and receive phone calls. She can't even receive text messages. It has no benefits. She is a student and is dependant on her phone because of all the benefits like emailing, google search etc. Out of frustration and as a father I went to vodacom menlyn. I supplied them with the job number etc. They told me that they are not able to trace the phone or repairwork
