Warranty is useless from Vodacom

Let's start of saying I am a Vodacom customer for more than 10 Years.. I gave in my phone in for repairs on the 5 January 2013 at vodaworld. My first complaint is that the sms messages sent on the progress of the phone repairs was not very informative to me as I still need to call in to check the status of the repair. A sms or a call with correct information to let us know the phone is ready won't hurt.
Second complaint, on the 19 of January 2013 we went to worldworld at around 12h30pm where we received our buzzer to notify us when to see the consultant. We only saw a consultant at 2h30 when we enquired what is taking so long to be seen and if I am still in the queue. Three hours to pick up a phone is ridiculous!
Third complaint, when we received the phone back the consultant told us is beyond repair, so we ask why since it work but only when the power charger is plug in to the unit. He said there was corrosion and they could not do anything. I told him that it was never near water and he said no water damage was detected just corrosion and they could not do anything. The phone is on warranty so I expect Vodacom to keep up to their policy to fix the phone in the 24 month.
