Faulty new phone -no response

I recently took out a R100 a month top up contract with Vodacom Chat Horison View. Less than 2 weeks later I returned the phone saying it keeps 'freezing''.
They sent the phone in for repairs. The sim card I am currently using in another phone.
The phone was sent in (job card 8975954-5968851 date 26/06/2013) and weeks later when I went to enquired I was informed that it was returned saying '"Drop marks on all 4 corners and scratches on lens". Repairs get done at Vodacare Fourways.
I was furious - the phone still had the plastic on the screen and '"drop marks" where? From the Vodacom shop I asked them to get the technician on the phone. I informed him of my complaint and told them to phone me when they get the phone. Still waiting. I wrote a not very polite comment on the bottom of the job card and asked them to return it with the phone.
Couple of weeks later I went back to the Vodacom shop at Horison to have the phone returned again with the same job card comment. I showed the Vodacom personnel the phone and asked them to inspect the so called damage with me. NOT THERE.
I have left the phone with them since initial purchase. Welcome to inspect it. Does not work!
