No response to multiple calls and escalations

On 2 Aug 2013, I tried to upgrade my phone online. The website gave errors but in the end I was successful. I was supposed to receive a phone by Monday (1 working day), it only arrived on Tuesday (2 working days). I called on Tuesday to complain and found out I had incorrectly ordered a new contract instead of upgrade. I immediately asked to have it cancelled. A call was (supposedly) logged. Thursday I called, and no-one had record of it. I logged a call again, told to wait 5 days. Still nothing on 17th I called again and was told it was escalated, would get call back in 2hrs. Next day still nothing, called again and was told it was escalated again. It's the 21st, still NOTHING! I don't want the new contract, cancelled it within good time and Vodacom doesn't bother to come collect it. I do not want to be billed end of this month, but that can't be sorted until the phone is collected (it arrived with the INCORRECT SIM in any event, should have been microSIM). It was late too, so I should be getting 1st month free at least, but no-one is able to help me. Escalations have not worked. WHAT NOW!!? I will not be staying with Vodacom if this is how I'm treated after all these years.
