Ok, right, so i decided to move homes. I phoned Telkom on the 16th of July and asked them to please note that I need my line moved, I asked them to please ensure that they are ready to move my line on the 16th of August.

the 16th came and went, no info from Telkom, my old line is up to this point actually still conected. Wow, that a 10 for effort Telkom.

So i phone the number 10210 over 20 times by now, each time costing me around 30 Rand. Each time i phone, I get a different story.

1st story, my line has a fault.
2nd story, oh, the one fault has been fixed but they found another, busy fixing it, phone back in 3 days.
3rd Story, Oh a technician has tried to phone me i didn't answer, so they have to reschedule. (oh and they cant just come to my house, they have to phone first, mmm shame people who move and don't have cell phones will obviously never get a new installation, very dumb policy Telkom)

4th story, oh technician came to my house waited outside for 30 minutes, rang the buzzer 20 times. no one answered.
(Interesting as i was outside by my fish pond fixing it the whole day, right by the gate)

This is the from today only, wow. Good work Telom.
