MTN "service is down"

On Saturday I was unable to receive or make calls and my sms's wouldn't deliver. I went immediately to the walk in branch at N1 City mall, waited in a cue for 30 mins only to be told that the reason I was having this trouble was the the MTN Server was unavailable and the technicians were working on the problem. I was ensured that it would be working again by the end of Saturday however it is now Monday afternoon and I still am experiencing this problem. I am extremely annoyed that I am unable to use my phone.
