Cant make calls for 5 days now!

I upgraded my prepaid account to an iPhone talk 240 contract account on Friday, 1 February. I was told all was in order and went back to Vodacom Fourways mall on Saturday to collect the phone.
On Saturday afternoon I recieved an sms from Vodacom telling me that my contract was activated. I was however unable to make calls, and still am. It has been five days now and my account is still on prepaid while my account has been debited by Vodacom for over R600. I called 111 on Sunday and was on hold for over 30 min before hanging up. I tried the activation number and was on hold for 16 min before hanging up. I went to vodacom Fourways mall on Monday and was told that it was pending and would be working by Tue am.By Tuesday afternoon it was still not working so I returned to Vodacom Fourways Mall. They called all their relevant departments, and no one was able to help. He sat in front of me with his phone on speaker for 32 minutes waiting for someone at IT to answer his call. I left at this point very frustrated. He called me an hour later to say that there was nothing he could do. It is now Wednesday. 5 Days later, and I cannot make calls because they are incompetent & unwilling.
