I came back from an international holiday to over R25, 000 bill due to data usage while roaming. I settled my account on July 25th. On August 01, a debit order for the full amount also went through. I submitted documentation supporting my request for refund on August 05 and i was told the process will take 4-7 working day before i can get my refund. Needless to say, i'm still waiting...
Whenever i called the person who is supposed to handle my account, the phone just ran with no one picking up. Today i'm told this person has been on leave and i suspect nothing has been done around this issue.
I've been now given another name, and the person also does not pick up.
I have no idea who or how to escalate this matter. I'm extremely frustrated and am vol with MTN and their horrific service. They are quick to take money from our accounts or cut off our lines if they don't get the money; but now it seems like such a tough task to afford us the same courtesy as their clients. I'm so mad i could kill someone...
