I called MTN to do a Sim Swap on behalf of my dad, and unfortunately came through to an extremely rude agent called (sounds like) Nonkulubeko. Call details /- 6pm 18th August. Protocol says that the agent needs to speak to the owner of the phone -which is all good, but do not become rude! After this no name fool speaks to my dad - who has the audacity to be rude to an almost 60year old, he says "I don't care", after he says that we failed the verification questions. My dad is extremely sick, and he fell the previous day, and hence he was in a bit of a daze. For a call centre agent - who by the way represents the brand of "the so awesome MTN" - to be rude to him and to me is unacceptable. After I asked to speak to his manager or team leader 5 times, he continued (very rudely)& asked to speak to the owner of the phone. He then dropped the call in my dad's ear, and I had to call back, and a very nice lady actually assisted me with the same thing that this incompetent fool could not! - Because she actually took the time to listen to the situation we were in. I want a copy of this call, so I can show everyone what type of staff MTN has. hello the future? soon you will be far past!
