Line not Transferred almost 2 month late

I moved house 1 December and called Telkom to transfer my line. a few days later i received an sms to pay the account for november before the line was moved. This was done. I called and followed up on the progress of the transfer. they will get back to me. I emailed on the web, no response, . Today I called, approx 54 days later and was told that there is a note on the system which says that 'they are investigating and will revert within 30 days'. I asked why I am still being billed for the service when I am not using it and was told that I need to pay for the rental even if I am not using it. and my line wont be transfered until i pay the outstanding amount. I believe this is very unfair as I have not used the line or rental since 30 Nov and the delay is caused by Telkom. No one has called me back to date
