Upon my return from 2 weeks abroad, I discovered that my neighbor's gardener had cut my phone line while trimming a hedge.
I reported this to Telkom on the 11th of August and was told that they don't know when it will be fixed but they could "at least promise that it would not take more than 5 days".
On Wednesday I called for a status update and explained that I run a business from home and that the lack of service is not only causing inconvenience but also loss of business. Munesh escalated the matter providing reference 536178.
I have subsequently spoken to (among others) Nomvula, Baphuleng, Petunia and also to another consultant this morning who provided another escalation number (536687).
It is incredibly frustrating and costing me a fortune in cellphone calls and 3G data.
