I am not surprised that this has happened at Cell C and regret ever availing myself to their poor customer service. As per normal Cell C customer care processes, I was directed to numerous departments, receiving the same response over and over and over again. Stating that they do not have any record that shows I have cancelled my account with them.
Here's the scenario: I regrettably took out a 12 month data bundle contract at Cell C. My 12 months expired and I went into the Store in Claremont Cape town to cancel the contract 3 or 4 months ago. After doing so I realised that I was still debited for the account prior to the cancellation. When I called Customer care they told me that my account was not cancelled and the person then did it for me on the 1st of August which now conveniently displays on their system. I am now fighting to get my refund and do not see why I have to go through all this drama for something Cell C did not do. My reference number is 3080101282.
And please do not call me unless you have viable information because unlike you, I have customer satisfaction reputation to uphold at my place of employment and do not have time to waste on measly "I am sorry" calls.
