9 month old blackberry broken and no help

Vodacom's asttitude towards a 9 month old BB that has stopped taken photos is, basically tough luck. The technicians are claiming Liquid Damage - the phone never had water damage, but apparently excessive sweat or steam can cause the same problem. The entire way the incident has been handled has been poor, and to say the least, unsatisfactory. None of the Vodacom staff have followed through or assisted us in sorting the problem out. How can a 9 month old phone under warranty, just be written off as a bad luck incident, and that the cleint needs to fork R 1881.60 out to have it fixed? Vodacom, i am shocked, and upset, and if this is the service you offer, why shouldf i stay with you? I could just as easily try MTN or Cell C.
