I've been an MTN customer for many years and I have not had issues until now. I have a top up contract which is ending on the 20th of August 2013. 30 days before expiry, I went to an MTN store where I initially signed my contract and asked for some assistance in cancelling the contract. The gentleman told me to dial 808, so I did. When I got hold of someone and proceeded to inform them that I would like to cancel my contract and transfer my cell phone number to a prepaid number, the operator told me that I should call again on the 9th of August. I have been calling everyday since, and nobody is willing to assist me. How can I stick to the terms and conditions of the contract If others which are working for MTN are making this impossible to do.

My experience with MTN and its incompetent staff is not ' Ayoba ', and I would appreciate help from someone who actually knows what he or she is doing.
