Some time in July I upgraded my contract with MTN (I have been a client of MTN for 6 yrs now). I was told I will get my new handset in 2 to 7 working days, however it took 8 days. That was fine but discovered on the very 1st day that the phone was defective, I notified MTN of the problem. They collected the phone and promised to deliver a new one, however in the process they cancelled my old simcard since the new phone uses a micro simcard, so I had no phone and no simcard as well. That proved to be a mission resolving the problem since some of the MTN staff were saying it cannot be reversed, due to my persistence it was later reversed. A week later MTN deliver another phone only to find that it was a wrong phone, not what I ordered. I insisted that a correct phone be delivered the next day, which they did after a long struggle. MTN has now again gave me another headache and billed me incorrectly, till to date I am struggling to get it resolved. I'm now left with a decision of whether or not to cancel the contract.
