My Sim number was deleted without my knowledge

On 1st August my sim card stopped working, giving error message: " Sim not provisioned 2". When I reported I was told I ported the number. I indicated that I was unaware of the porting. Vodacom told me they will investigate and let me know.
3 days later they had not contacted me and I called them again. They had no knowledge of my 1st call, it was not reported according the to the agent I spoke to. He then gave me a new ref number which was different from the 1 I received via sms on my alternative number. I called the call center several times up to the 8th day when I spoke to Supervisor who referred me to his manager on my request.
I told the manager that it was strange that no one from Vodacom had given me any feedback on this issue in 8 day, I had lost contact, with business friends and family, I could not complete my banking transaction as the number is used to send OTP's. The manager promised he will follow up and return to me the same day or the following day.
We are now on the 12th day from the day 1st reported the problem, and I still have not had any feedback from Vodacom.
