After struggling for a week to get my number canceled from the Vodacom network, I went back to the Mtn shop on Friday 16 May 2013 to get my new contract and get my number ported over from the Vodacom network and got told it will take 2 to 24 hours then my number will be active on the Mtn network.
Then after 24 hours it still wasn`t working, then phoned 80 and after holding for an hour I was told Vodacom rejected my port, phoned Vodacom and was told by them that Mtn didn`t accept the request for the port in time.
Going back toe the Mtn shop again telling them it isn`t working, they sent an email to their regional manager who I was told sent the email straight through to the porting department to get the number ported over.
Now another 24 hours later I still don`t have use of my new phone, my number is hanging somewhere in the air and people struggle to get hold of me.

Is this the type of service to be expected by a loyal customer?
