Hi have logged numerous complaints with VODACOM and they finally admitted they have an issue with my account. They therefore decided to release me from my contract with immediate effect in early July 2013. They then proceeded to deduct funds from my account and I am now told they will continue to do so until the end of July 2013. My advice to anyone wanting to deal with Vodacom - run a mile. They are completely and utterly incompetent. Lineo Palatse, the person dealing with my cancellation has made a series of errors ensuring the cancellation of my contract has been more painful than the contract itself. They agreed to pay me out for the months I received no service... how then is it that I am still paying them? The industry regulators need to take a very close look at Vodacom and their billing Antics as well as their false advertising. The claimed areas of coverage according to the Vodacom website are completely untrue. If Vodacom is the benchmark of the mobile telephone industry, we are in trouble. They are an absolute disgrace.
