I reported my telephone line fault 5 days ago. A technician came out on the second day, but did not do anything. I am loosing thousands of rands every day because I do not have internet or telephone.

The fault is simple, it has been happening on and off for months now. On our telephone pole, there is some poor wiring that causes a short cirucuit. Every time a tech comes out to fix it, it happens again not too long after. (It happened about a month and a half ago) The last technician said he pulled a brand new wire through, but I watched him while he was working and this was not the case. He simply fixed the broken connection.

All I want to know is; Who can I speak to to get this sorted once and for all? How can I have a stable and reliable service? Why does it take SO long (last time it was 3 weeks) to fix? Its such a simple fault!!!
