I have a corporate cellphone which has been purchased by the company. The cellphone started to display black lines and I took it to Vodacare Polokwane. It was taken for assessment and on the same day I requested a loan phone since its a corporate and have to use it for business and the lady who assisted me said they do not have loanphones. Within a week the cellphone was quoted and it was a nonwarranty quote with the fault as mechanical failure on lens. TWhen I asked the reason for non warranty was told its due to my negligence. The phone was purchased in 2012 and still within 2 year warranty. The matter was referred to Manager who also couldn't help. How do Vodacom staff accuse me for negligence as the phone was not damage on the outside and the engineer report indicate that the problem was with the lens. The cellphone is still within warranty and Vodacom must resolve matter as some clause within contracthave been breached and are d eceiving.
