My son was due for an upgrade but he had a good cell phone at the time so I intended to give the upgrade to my daughter.
I explained in detail and made sure the assistant knew what my intentions were and we came to an agreement with which contact my son would have to change to. The next day my son's blackberry services were down and the only solution the assistant presented to me was to add blackberry services to the contract with the additional cost of R59 per month. Had I known this before hand I would not have gone into this contract. They supplied me with no alternative bringing my sons contract from R200 per month to R360. I have submitted a formal and in detail complaint to MTN explaining this, and 2 more issues, and I received and automated response saying " this has been escalated to the Regional Management" and 2 weeks later I am still waiting. I have sent another complaint with the reference number of the first complaint saying I am still waiting for a reply. the reference number given was MTN REQ:2403507 and the second one issued is MTN REQ:2467587. I am extremely dissatisfied with this service as I have been a client of MTN for over 15 years with 5 contracts with them.
