Refuses to cancel contract

It seems that even tho my contract is now more than 24months old, MTN refuses to cancel the contract. I've went into a branch to try cancel it, and they said I must phone 808. Tried phoning 808, and they won't do it. Emailed them, still won't confirm my request to cancel my contract.

Please confirm my request to cancel my contract! Why is this so difficult?? I've paid any outstanding amounts so don't see why you guys refuse to cancel it. This is yet another official 30days notice, but I bet you guys will try to bill me for yet another month.
