Struggle to cancel contract

I have a contract with Virgin Mobile and after being unhappy with the service and being charged extra with no explanation, I decided to cancel the contract after the compulsory year. At first when I phoned Virgin Mobile to cancel the contract, they told me that my account was overdue and that I had to pay R260 at a Nedbank branch before they can cancel the contract. I went and paid the money, but the contract was never cancelled. They kept deducting money from my account every month and I kept sending it back as I have already told them to close the account. I tried phoning them again to cancel the account, but nobody was able to help me and they kept on putting me through to other people who also couldn't help. I even went to the branch in Witbank, but there they informed me that they are also unable to cancel the contract. Now I found out that they blacklisted me! This is totally unacceptable as I have tried many times to close the account but it seems to be an impossible task! I also haven't used the phone in over a year. I want them to clear my name and cancel the contract!
