Cancellation of contract refused

Within 2 days of taking out the Holiday access membership i wanted to cancel the contract.
when phoning the branch that i signed with the number no longer existed and had been changed.
Once i had tracked the number down i requested to speak to the consultant that assisted us, in order to cancel the contract. I was told that he is busy and that he would phone me back. This happened on a number of occassions still with no call back.

I then recieved a call to confirm my details which i refused to do as i wanted to cancel my contract, informing the consultant that i wanted to cancel the contract she advised to send her an email of cancellation as well as a fax which i had done with no response.
I then found the web site and sent an email to cancel contract to customer services, with a response that the cancellation request had not taken place within 5 days therefore the contract can not be cancelled.
not taking into account that i have been tying to contact them on numerous occasions.i then disagreed and the cancellation request was then sent to "board of trustees" wich had mad a decision of non cancellation without any request for reason or further info.
