I signed up with MWeb 24/7/2012 for a 1MB line. For the past 2 months I have been struggling with line speeds ranging from .1 to .5 to .6 Laid a complaint which was followed up by Mweb and Telkom Techinitians caming out testing my line and all my equipment and could not find any fault on my side. MWeb followed up again and I was told my line speed is acceptable but they would reset on their side. To no avail- my line speed is almost non exsistant. This morning I phoned to cancel my MWeb because I want to go over to a service provider that can fulfil their promises. I was told I must pay for another month due to their cancelation policies that: s available on internet, BUT, the application form I filled in signing up with MWeb do not state anywhere I have to give one month notice-I did not sign for 1 months notice and I am not paying for a service I"m not getting-that is breach of contract on MWEb's side by letting me pay for almost non exsistent service and not giving me the line speed I have signed up for. I am cancelling with immediate effect!!!
