Mweb
They charge me more for less

I first signed on to Mweb on their R488 deal. Which was 1mb line, with 1mb data. Apparently Telkom then upped all their 1mb data lines to 2mbps, prompting Mweb to readjust their pricing (now it is 2mb line, with 2mbps for R488). Only they didn't for me. They upped my 2mb line and kept my data speed at 1mbps and carried on charging me R488 per month for a package deal that doesn't exist. I paid them R488 last week and found out about this. I asked for the difference back (R488-R339) and instead of getting the R150, they offer me R20 AND they are willing to downgrade me. So I have been paying R488 for over a year, for a ONE mbitps data service, on a 2mb line that I can't iuse, and this is the best they can do? Nice one guys. Will be cancelling with you next week Monday. After 14 payments at R488, not one late, this is what I am offered, a DOWNGRADE, and R20. I am also told that I should be happy having paid the extra R150 a month as some customers reported getting a BIT faster than 1mbps rate... A BIT faster for R150 a month, a insult.
