I have been a Cell C Data since AKC joined. Last night I got a sms on my modem that my software would soon be outdated and I needed to update it. I followed the instructions and my modem stopped working. I called the Call Centre. After reading the same instructions to me, Thandeka advised me that she would escalate my call to Marvin, her supervisor. Marvin refused to take my call and after holding on for 15 minutes I was told that I needed to take it to my nearest Cell C store for the problem to be rectified. Today I took the modem to Cell C in George. After playing (plug in/plug out) the kind assistant told me that my modem was in fact not working..I told her that was actually why I came in!!! She went to the back and came back telling me that my modem would have to be sent to Midrand and I should come back in 21 days... 21 days!! Upon enquiring if I could have a loan unit, as I needed this modem to conduct business, I was told that no loan units were available, but I could BUY one for R599.00.Sensing my frustration her kindness dissipated... Her attitude lacked... I left and went to AKC's previous employer to purchase data in order to send this complaint..Thanks Alan!!!
