They keep rejecting the payments that i make

Telkom payments are handled by an external company. In may this year they somehow had a duplicate payment made on their system. It was an amount of 900 rand. They then rejected the both of them. Including the one legitimate payment. I had to find the receipt from the pick and pay that i did the payment at.By stroke of luck i still had it. They incorrect 900 was then rejected and the correct one accepted. I paid my account up to date and thought all was well. It was not. I have since been disconnected as they then decided to reject EVERY payment i made in may. They now claim that i owe them an amount of 2400 rand. This is a result of them rejecting the payments i made in May. I now have to prove that i made these payments in order to wipe away my so called debt.
