Will not replace my lost phone

I discovered I lost my phone, I then blacklisted the device and sim card and reported it to the police, I followed procedures to submit my claim all in the same day, the call centre agent said they will respond in 24 to 48 hours, 48 hours pass so I call them back holding for 25min in the process only to find out that they are still busy and would have a response by days end, the next morning still no reply so I call back, they tell me the person that was doing my claim is not in today so they have to get somebody else to do it and I will have a response by 12pm, 1pm comes still no response so I call this time holding for 35mins, to find out they are still not finished with my claim! I then receive a email from Koketso Mathabathe [ MTN ] saying my claim has been rejected from not safe guarding my phone, in my report I put that I left my phone on my vehicle on the way to work as that is the only pausible explanation for my lost phone not knowing the exact loss of it, I have never claimed for a lost phone or missed any payments yet you wont cover me for a lost phone, I cannot afford to replace this hence the insurance, I am considering cancelling my contract due to this, plz respond
