I signed up for a contract costing for a Samsung Galaxy S4 contract with Cell C through Autopage Cellular costing R399 per month. The offer included free Sim and Connection fee. I did not sign up for any additional services. To my surprise, on my bill, I was charged a connection fee, I was also charged for CLI which I did not sign up for. The franchise through which I purchased the contract confirmed that I did not sign up for CLI and also confirmed that they did not inadvertently sign me up for it (showed me a copy of the contract and what I was signed up for). Yet Autopage Cellular Head office/billing billed me for CLI as well as connection fee which was supposed to be free according to their advert. I find this extremely disturbing as this is dishonest and I write this as there may be many others who are inaccurately billed and may not even notice. It was also extremely inconvenient for me to go up and down to the store to try and correct this inaccurate billing. Phoning the customer service to correct something done by autopage costs me money as these calls are charged are at normal cellular rates. These billing practices are unacceptable from a supposedly reputable company
