I had my phone on Thursday the 11th of July and reported it to Autopage Altech shop in Bedfordview at 2pm. I had the sim cancelled and a new one issued. I also had my phone blacklisted. Today, Saturday the 13th of July, I tried calling out but received a recording stating my account has been suspended and an sms saying I was R7000 unpaid. After phoning Autopage I discovered that this was a subscription charge on the 11th of July, not made by me! I didnt even receive a warning. I was told that my service would be reinstated on me paying 50%, which I refused. I put in a dispute, which also results in me not being able to use my phone for at least three days while they investigate. If the subscription, R7000, was done before I reported it then I have to pay and if after then not. Consumer rights and mean nothing to this company. I am disjusted by how they operate and care nothing about their customers.
