Illegal deductions!

I received a phone call from a lady some time ago telling me how much I needed to insure my phone. I clearly stated in the phone call that I do not want anything added to my account!

Some time later I checked my bank statement and saw that a deduction for fonesure has gone off my account. I phoned vodacom and they told me there is nothing they can do about it cause I am with elite mobile! I took my contract out at a vodacom shop and when it was time to renew someone phoned me about a renewal. Renewal!!! I would have thought you had to stay with the same company or it to be a renewal of a contract?? I never signed anything with a elite mobile company!

Subsequently I phoned Elite Mobile and requested the deduction be removed. The gentleman said he would remove it and get back to me... no such luck - it is still getting deducted from my account 6 months later - cant wait for this contract to end!
